I mentioned to Darth the other day that Ernie looked pretty good. Just like Fog, he's unpredictable and a crazy shotmaker. Also, it looks as if he's changed the motion on his funky FH

He had to 'cos it was hurting his shoulder and led to his bad shoulder issues last few years.

Why do you call him Big ? Just curious.
I saw him play at USO...he's not a tall tree, but he is a big, muscular guy, and that was when he was 17.

He does play lights out sometimes. I remember he made short work of Berdych at Wimbledon 2012 with excellent serving.

Yup, was just thinking of that match earlier. Think it was 3 tiebreaks and 36 aces.

I was and still am fully expecting him to lose to Gulbis. Ernie's been struggling past few seasons since a bad shoulder injury but is much better than his ranking.
He is a rich guy, so sometimes he takes long breaks from tennis.

He is 6'2", which is average among tennis players. Well, who knows what else triggered this Nick name .

Alex De Manure. All jokes aside though, hopefully he'll get better in future. Promising young player for sure.

Yeah, filthy rich people in Jurmala where he's from. Tons of millionaire mansions there. Stayed there last month (my wife is from Latvia) and the place we were staying next to was still being built. House looks like the Titanic.

I can 100% assure you Rafa would have had A LOT more trouble with Struff who is clearly a better grass player. Btw, what exactly am I supposedly afraid of?

Don't bother with her, some dulltards are too far gone. They can't be helped.

Yup looks like it's going to be Vesely. Just when I thought dull's USO 17 first week draw couldn't be topped, it just maybe.

dull's H2H with Vesely is 1-0, last time they played in Hamburg in 2015(dull's worst year) and he still beat Vesely. Yup no hope for Vesely even though it's green clay.

And knowing dull's luck, delpotro will lose to simon. Book it.

With #1 secured till USO, Nadal is playing on house money right now, no pressure whatsoever. He could atleast reach finals if all the tough opponents like Fognini, Delpotro keep falling out of the way without Nadal hitting a ball.

DP might take a set

You overestimate Fog's chances. As of now he hasn't ever made it past 3R at Wimbledon. If the Fog gets there, I am sure Rafa takes their previous grand slam match personally. Rafa hasn't lost to Fog since but this is their next grand slam match. To beat Nadal after Nadal was 2-0 sets up? It could even be ugly.

We could have said that about any of the no-names who have beaten Rafa at Wimbledon since 2011. I hope I'm wrong anyway.

Vesely is 6'6 lefty with a big serve. He actually has a better chance.

Yes but Vesely's BH is problematic which will get exposed by dull. Only hope is Vesely's left handed so the BH abuse will not be as severe probably.

Vesely is basically a poor man's Verdasco so I don't have much hope.
