AYE! He missed it. Djokovic blaming a random crowd screamer. But he still should have made that.

Oh no.

That looked rough. I've had that one happen to me a number of times with my ankle. Hopefully just a roll.

This is a snoozer of a match...:sleep: I was happy to wake up in time to see Novak chunk yet another overhead into the bottom of the net. Still an easy first set for the former #1.

Nishikori holds on to keep it to one break for the set. He'll need to keep this level and probably find another going forward. Just to keep up with Djokovic in really good form. Can maybe still steal a set. But doesn't seem to likely at the moment does it. Djokovic serving really well making a break seem difficult. Still. It only takes one... if you hold all of yours. Likely to start spraying like Cilic, Djokovic is not.

I love how they get faster as the point goes on. Like they keep stealing time from each other but they both keep getting shots back so it just gets to be super fast reactions.

Much different than the Murray/Djokovic matches.

OH yeah! Completely different match up. Murray really able to stand up to Djokovic's shots with his height and size and totally slows it down.

Muzz is completely a defensive player. Nishi doesn't really like to play defense even though he's quick. He goes on offense quickly. Sometimes too fast for his own good as he presses and becomes an UE machine.

Hello guys - long time!

Watching the match but can’t help missing the good old days of Big 4 (or 3?) dominance. Semi finals were so much more fun. Thanks to Delpo, things may get slightly interesting. Hoping for Delpo-Djoko finals and rooting for Delpo’s #2

Welcome back Srini... yes... loooong time! Good to see you around.

Agree, I think a Delpo/Djoker final could be a great match. Hoping Delpo gets #2 after all he's been through over the years.

Oy. Just that touch better. Like he always is. Nishikori NOT helping with some not great serving. And all these shanked returns. Driving me nuts. But I can't say this is in anyways surprising. I was hoping the fact that you basically know Djokovic will win would help me not be so annoyed and frustrated by it. But it has not. Hate it so much. I guess just because it feels like Nishikori is SO close. But yet so far.

STILL going for too much on the return. JUST GET IT IN. It's really not that hard. Not for him. He can get it in and hang in afterwards. But ya gotta get it in. You gotta get it started. I know ya want a strong return to get ahead in the point. But that only works if it's in.

Novak's like, "If I get out of this in three, I've still played one more set than DP did today."
