Well. When Kei beat Djokovic here in 2014, they'd played only 2 other times and split those. He hasn't beaten him since. Takes sets in many matches. But Djokovic just better. I hate it. Because I'm a huge Nishikori fan. But if Wimbledon showed us anything, it's that Djokovic is not scared of Nishikori at all. Just knows how to break him down. Solve the puzzle Nishikori has for the day. Also, has a couple inches on him and therefore actually has a serve. I hope Nishikori can get a set. I hope he can get 3. I'm not sure he'll get one.

Maybe fellow japanese Osaka will inspire Nishikori.

I know you're just praying for it but what you said is Nishi's only chance, that Djokovic has played complete powderpuffs so far and Nishikori is a big step up. I still think Nole wins this and beats whoever on Sunday but maybe your prayer will be answered.

And I know that you are preying for anyone to win on Sunday but not Nadal and I hope your praye won’t be answered

It's alright, I don't make "predictions" simply based on what I want to happen. Otherwise I'd predict Nadal to lose every match and get hit by a bus.

I hate how much Nishikori struggles in this match up. ... BUT I LOVE this matchup. So much fun, for me, to watch these two go back and forth.

These matches just about always come down to the fact that Djokovic is 6'2" with a 6'2" man's serve and Nishikori is 5'11" with a 5'11" man's serve.

The greatest returner in history against a sub 6 foot guy. It's basically not fair. Nishikori's phenomenal shots get him sets. But not whole matches. Djokovic has the shots to match Nishikori, and is in general better on that front too. Though, I really do think it's pretty dang close there.
