Yeah. I just think it's important to say that a fully fit Nadal would almost certainly have still struggled with DelPo. He's amazing. But DelPo, despite some errors when he was up a break, was just phenomenal. Hitting the cover off the ball. Thrilled to see him play the final whether it be Kei or Djokovic. Assuming Djokovic takes out Kei, I'll be rooting for DelPo. If Kei can come through, I'll definitely be pulling for him. But I won't be sad if DelPo wins that one either. Definitely want to see him get another slam even if it means Kei can't get his first (and possibly only chance).

I don't know KSK....Nole's been looking better and better as matches go on.
Well Djoke still has 2 matches to play before holding it up again. While I don't think Nishi will win, he could annoy Novak and keep him out there for awhile. I'm w/ Front, this is the chance of a lifetime for DP, can't see him not taking it

Well Nads shouldn't be wearing that bull shirt and cap since he couldn't stay and finish the match

So, it takes four players to bring down Ralph. This is a joint victory to Khachanov, Basilashvili, Thiem and JMDP.

Good for DelPo for making it to the final. Too bad, so sad for Nadal that he's got knee problems yet again. His loss...DelPo's gain. Best of all - Nadal stays 3 behind Roger in the Slam count. The question is - will Nadal be healed in time for the Asia swing - cuz he's got 1100 points to defend. Roger's got 1500 to defend - and Djokovic has 0. If Djokovic wins the US Open, the 2 remaining Masters events and the Tour Finals - he could finish the year at #1...and who would have predicted that at the start of the year.

Like AO Schwartzman-Cilic

I read that Thiem and Khachanov matches were his longest and second longest at the USO

I actually don't think this is good news for Novak, who can out-Rafa Rafa if he's in good form. But del Potro has that Stanimal (or Cilic USO 2014) potential, able to just hammer the ball and hit through anyone when at his best. The problem for del Potro has been health and not being able to bring his best for a full Slam tournament. We might be seeing something different, and while I still favor Novak, Sunday should be a good match.

Delpo has a habit of playing tough against Novak in big matches. I think he has a great chance. Remember he made Novak cry in Rio

Nole has to get past Nishikori first. The last time they played at the US Open Nishikori won.

I kid, of course. Djokovic will win easily. If that sucker goes 4 sets I'll be shocked. He's got an opportunity to win 2 Slams this year and make up the game on Roger and Nadal.

At the very start of the year in the Slam poll I picked Djokovic or DelPo to win the US Open. I just didn't think they'd be playing each other for it.
