No no you're misunderstanding me. One of the points you made justifying KD's superiority was that if you were creating a team from scratch you would do it around KD not Steph. My point is that Steph would be a better leader of any team you want to create. He would actually lead. KD just wants to play

I get where you're coming from for sure. The problem is KD simply hasn't had his own team. If the situation was flipped and Curry was on the team with Westbrook and then went to KD's Warriors we might be saying the same thing about Curry.

If KD had gone to Boston instead of the Warriors I feel like we'd have a legit comparison to go off of. As it stands yes, if I don't know my team I'd select KD over Curry but it's a lot closer than many think. BS and AP think it's KD by a lot but I disagree with that.

I just don't think he has the mentality for it. It's not just about opportunity. KD doesn't want the responsibility that's the problem. Russ definitely wants it, and I think Steph is just a natural leader. Making KD a leader is simply putting lipstick on a pig

It's possible he doesn't but it's possible he does. The guy is a straight up killer and he's plenty ambitious. He took the easy way out though, it really was a bitch move that is going to end up changing the NBA for the worse. Bron started it in Miami but that wasn't anywhere near what KD did and luckily for the league the stay in Miami was short since Wade completely lost it by 2013.

And now everyone waits to see where LeBron goes next. Apparently Stephen A thinks even Boston may be in on it. How funny would it be if they traded Kyrie and Hayward for LeBron? It'd look classless from Boston but I'd rather be classless with a bunch of rings...

Oh dude, you're not on twitter, but I acknowledged two idiotic statements I've made: I said Durant was the best in the world in late 2014, and Curry was the best in 2016. So no, it wasn't out of some bias because he played for my team (otherwise why would I say Curry is the best?), I was just being dumb. In hindsight, it was ridiculous to doubt Lebron. I've come around.

And KD is the far superior player to Russ. That never changed.

I actually doubted he was still the best player in 2015, his first year back in Cleveland. He looked run down and had probably his worst regular season since he was a rookie. It also was the worst he's looked in the playoffs in a long time but he still dragged them to the finals without Kyrie and Love and made it really interesting against the Warriors. Since then it's basically just a case of playoff LeBron. I may believe someone is as good as him if they actually have a better postseason. KD in the finals last year is the only player who has just about canceled LeBron out in a series since 2011.

I don't think it will happen but it'd be funny. LeBron won't want to go there as it's known for being a pretty racist town anyways, and Boston wants to beat him really really bad. He's part owner of that franchise!

more folks I hear seem to think Lakers but I still think that doesn't make much sense. Got to be the Sixers surely

Cleveland is just so bad on defense it's funny. Only thing that stopped GS from 35+ points is uncharacteristic misses on open 3's

This is why you have to rest LeBron at some point. There is no hope if he isn't dominating and it's tough to do that when you play every minute of every game

They know he's not human that's why they keep him out there.

Basically Durant has been a monster and everyone else on the Warriors has sucked. LeBron has had a pretty poor game too, and his team has shown up better than expected. But ultimately if he isn't scoring efficiently they are screwed.

He's missed about 4 point blank layups, that's legs.

Dumb bball at times from both teams, including a really bad shot there from James. He hasn't hit a jump shot all game, can't pull up from 30 feet there.

If you told me LeBron was 11-25 for 28 I would assume the Cavs lost by 20 + and they would be if Curry or Thompson showed up tonight.

Funny though, Curry and Thompson can be bad to epic proportions and they still win going away on the road against a team fighting for its life. Yea that's Golden State.

And as we know any bad game from LeBron and they don't really have a chance, I'm surprised it was this close.
