Fair enough. To me she looks like the simple girl next door, the kind you see almost everywhere. Certainly a step below what superstars such as Nadal would be seen with - using the shallow criteria of external appearance alone. For some reason the tier 2 players have done pretty well there. I mean look at SO of Roddick, Juan Monaco, Moya, Berdych, Verdasco, Haas, Fish, Soderling, Blake etc etc. Most of these guys are with (super) models..

I think Nadal's sister is pretty hot as well but Berd's girl is just ridiculous IMO. Baghs girl at AO in 2006 during his big run was also incredible.

I don't believe men think looks are everything when it comes to women. At least I don't. Nice voice is a big factor too.
As I said before, the women referenced are celebrities (or significant others of celebrities), so don't know anything about them and haven't heard them. Hence judgement by the shallow criteria of external appearance only.

Definitely. The only female celebrity or significant others of celebrities who aren't seen as just good looking are either singers or people like Carol Vorderman or Rachel Riley. Like you said we don't really know them.

I'm more sophisticated looking than beautiful myself especially with my spectacles on (which I need). After what was said, I just wondered whether some guys would judge me because of that fact or whether some guys found sophisticated looking women attractive. I don't just go for looks either when looking for a guy. I like nice, polite, helpful, sophisticated men who can sing & maybe write poems though I can write them myself & can hold their own in any of my conversations. Looks don't really matter though I prefer the sophisticated looking man to the hunk. I wondered whether other people had other values they looked for other than looks.

I always try not to judge things by appearances & over/under-estimate people. Appearances can be deceptive. I'm very sorry. At the time I responded I thought that women as a whole were just being seen as fancy-pieces which they're not. I forgot it's only natural for men to look at beautiful women & think "She's a bit of alright" in the same way that some women look at handsome men & think the same. I'm just attracted to men with nice voices & I do find intelligent men who are also nice & polite & can & will have a decent conversation a bit of a turn on but know that some women like good-looking men who are hunks. I like to take a holistic view of people & see them as a whole package, emotions too & show them respect & consideration. I like having fun & interesting conversations with other people.
