My opinion of McEnroe is that, as great as he was, he was a classless spoiled brat. I loved his game, but I couldn't stand the guy. I liked boring, stoic, Lendl...mainly because of his demeanor as opposed to his game/style of tennis.

Agreed. There was a lot of gamesmanship with all Mac's drama. A lot of players were put off balance by it. I remember Connors telling him to behave himself in a match once. It was the perfect response

I don't agree that Murray is a spoiled brat. He's very self-effacing. He's just grump in his on-court demeanor and that's what he shares with Nick. Otherwise, I think your Frankenstein is pretty accurate.

Point taken. It's just my opinion that when they bitch at their teams/boxes when things aren't going well, they come off a spoiled brats. Again, though...I understand your point of view.
