And Dimitrov leads Murfilsnini (a combo of Murray, Monfils, and Fognini), I mean Kyrgios, two sets to none.

Grigor is playing big time tennis. Very impressed. If he plays like this he has chances against Rafa

Didn't anticipate this version of Dimitrov here this year. Reminds me in a way of Stan who took a few seasons to make his way past the semi. In his case it was epic fights against Novak, will Rafa be Grigor's foil? Not saying this is over, but it's looking likely

Kyrgios is one break from total implosion.

Dimitrov looks the sharper today, but I do hope Nick makes a match of it, as in not going down in straights, even if tight ones. He's got a lot at stake in making a solid showing here. Not least of which is @mrzz's opinion of him. Oh, and then there are all of those folks at ESPN who picked him to play the final v. Roger. :lol6:

Is Mac on ESPN? He's a Kyrgios cheerleader

Nick is really starting to ball now. Really dangerous for Grigor. If he can damp him down again in the next set it'll be a sign of match play growth. Something he's lacked in the past

That exchange at net was pure Nick...how weird and effective was that?

Commentators were just talking about whether they had ever seen a backhand like Nicks before, and Wilander said "not really, but Tomic is the closest. Very short back swing" It's one of the things that looks so... un-technical from Nick, but is actually a decent stroke

Nick's alive, and so is the crowd. Game on.

Is this about to turn into another AO classic? I'm so intrigued about what Grigor's mentality is going to be like in this next set. He didn't really do anything wrong, Nick just started swinging for the fences. He just needs to stay strong and wait out this ride Nick is on. Pussy Dimi would have lost his level and over pressed. Let's see what happens

I'm not particularly a fan of Dimitrov...but I sure do hope that he beats this clown.
