Roger should be on cruise control, but Berdych is rising.

Berd's pressure has really brought Fed's backhand to life and that's a great thing to see.

Berd wiling to get in a slice war with Roger is a losing battle 99% of the time. Good hold there

Good point, Darth. It is like Roger has had to re-forge it.

Roger is playing better, but I fear that he is now struggling with consistency, even wthin a single game. It could be due to his age, and may be like that for the rest of his career.

Roger has had his number lately but you know I worry about this matchup more than anyone else he faces aside from Nadal and Djoker.
I know you do. After all these years, I still don't understand why. Berdshite is harmless to Fedal, Djoker, Muzz and Wawa. In fact, I'm not entirely sure how he got to the QF's this year

He got the better of Roger over a 3-4 year period in 2010-2013. Even last year he could've won Miami and he also ended up being Roger's toughest match at Wimbledon by far.

Well, Berdych has beaten Roger twice at Slams, so Darth's fear is warranted.

Still, I worry more about Stan and del Potro at this point. Cilic, too, and now Sascha.

Who did you think would have beaten him, up to this point?

Twice at slams was a decade ago. Again, nothing to worry about w/ Berd. You're right, there are greater foes in the world

I agree with DP due to the last 5 years in which he's caused Fed a bit more trouble. With the others it depends on where it is aside from Sascha. I'm sure he will be a huge threat in the near future but clearly not yet a contender at majors.

nah...it's tough to maintain your concentration when you really should be a lock to win this thing. He's going for 20. Can't be easy

At THIS point? Wawrinka lost to a nobody. Berdych destroyed del Potro. Zverev sucks in Majors. Cilic? Maybe. We'll see. Depends on if he can hold back his tears.

Roger's playing pretty well aside from 2 or 3 really terrible service games. Thankfully Berd only took 1 of those.
