Why the hell does ESPN continue to put game duration times and rally shots on the screen? Does anyone really care?

Berd hangs in there. Hopefully Roger can serve it out here without much drama.

Fed has lost 7 of those semis.

3 times to Djokovic, twice to Nadal, once to Murray and once to Safin.

I have not fact checked, but I think Fed has more AO semis than any other GS semi.

Aus-14[won 6 out of 13 with 1 result pending,3 losses to Djokovic,2 Nadal,1 each Murray and Safin(only one on Rebound ace)]
RG-7(won 5 losing once each to Nadal and Djokovic)
Wimb-12(won 11 one loss to Raonic)
US-10(won 7 two losses to Djokovic and one to Cilic)

Has worst SF to Final conversion rate here

Was just about to reply with those numbers! Yes he has struggled in the semis here but it's been the toughest slam for him opponent wise and that's a big factor. I don't remember all 6 wins but I know he's beaten the following in semis: Roddick, Tsonga, Wawrinka...damn I'm getting old. Used to remember all that junk...

EDIT: Fed beat Roddick twice so it's 04 and 06 I'm blanking on. Thinking 06 was Nicolas Kiefer but not sure.

The loss to Seepi was at an early round and not at SF level.

Well aware, I should have clarified that in my post.

It is relevant in the sense that he has demonstrated the ability to lose to a non-established player here recently.
