Well for one thing, the Harvard study actually only states that 93% of the stories on Trump published by CNN are negative. That doesn't mean they're biased. For that to be the case either the stories are untrue, or they are intentionally not publishing more positive stories. That's one thing. But what Fox News are doing is flat out lying about the FBI and Justice Department. Something which is far more pernicious. I find your attempt to either wash over or equivocate quite disturbing. As one is a far more dangerous phenomenon than the other

Amen to that.

I've already said that Fox are biased in their stance and reporting. I'm not sure where you are getting the vibe that I think Fox News are the upholders of integrity when it comes to reporting... but CNN were once a proud news station with a good reputation and reasonably un-partisan. Totally different proposition to the current organisation. Every day on CNN there are ridiculous stories on trump ranging from headlines on slurring certain words in speeches, having one more scoop of ice cream than everyone else in the white house (I'm not kidding)... constant trivial nonsense. Anyway, I'll check out the Fox FBI stuff and we'll discuss it in the politics section as I guess we're going down a different path from Tennys Tennis.

It's easy to think from what you write that CNN is a greater miscreant than Fox News, when Fox News are on a whole different magnitude. While I don't think CNN are perfect by any means. The speech slurring thing is not trivial by any means. Good grief, the man refused to release any medical information that gives the American people confidence that he's fit to serve (we've all seen behavior from him that implies he's either an asshole or mentally suspect. I'm happy to just see him as an asshole to be honest). We all saw Trump slurring his speech, it's on tv, not fake news. It is entirely reasonable for people to wonder why. As for the two scoops of ice cream thing? As I said before... you live by the sword, you die by the sword. Trump is perfectly happy to create a cult around himself and manage media perceptions of him. If people leak information about his habits that gives the audience to get a more balanced view on who he actually is, that's all to the good. You might not want to hear it, or think it's trivial, but that's neither here nor there, it's democracy in action
