Maybe Giannis will show his manhood on Saturday and coldcock Drake after the loss. It'd be the only good thing he's done all series and it'd only cost him 20 games next season. He and this team are just the latest laughing stock squad of this state. Almost fooled folks around here into thinking they are good.

I think Raps did a really good job playing Giannis so far. He gets decent numbers but not 40-50 points, 25 rebounds. Of course he can just take off on game 6 and bring back the whole thing home.
But I think the experience of some players proved crucial tonight for Raps and the inexperience of some of the Bucks .

He has put up awful numbers, he isn't shooting close to 50%, and the free throws, and turnovers have been killer. Hell I think he's only averaged about 23 points per game, awful for a supposed superstar. Toronto isn't doing anything different compared to Boston he just isn't finishing anything, making retarded turnovers because he can't catch/hold the ball, and missing every free throw. He's also been abused on the glass a lot of the series, giving up tons of offensive boards to 100 year old Gasol and 100 pound Siakam. He has been Godzilla most this year but now he might as well be Little Red Riding Hood.

I checked and he is at 23/14/6 average on 45% shooting. That is barely all star level. He's gone full blown pussy this series.

Boston is not the defensive team that the Raps are though. The timely double and triple teams Giannis is seeing right now is making life miserable for him. Gasol, as slow as he is, combined with Kawhi, they managed to make him look normal so far. There was a stat showing when Kawhi defends him versus everyone else and Kawhi so far has done the best job on him.

seems like win win for the Dubs on the assumption that the Bucks are a tougher match up for them. Either they get the Raptors or the Bucks will have very little rest

There's a part of me that hopes that Giannis can at least force this to a game 7. Going out in 6 after being the favourite is not a great look for his legend

He is normal on his own in the playoffs. He has missed tons of layups and dunks, he has gone Shaq at the line and has only gotten weaker as games have gone on. That stat line when you consider the shooting % is an abomination and that's why they have been an easy out this series. Even Philly put up more of a fight.

He has a long ways to go before we say he's any good. This is why I find it dumb they vote on MVP before the playoffs are over. He doesn't deserve to be MVP and missing out on it could be a good thing for him.

Way behind the times here, but only today I saw Magic quit the Lakers :nono:

It's good for his health, that organization is a dumpster fire. Magic recently was...a bit to open in scorching the organization while exposing potential trades they have tried to make. It may be honorable to be honest and all but you don't want to tell the world what your team has been planning :D

But we will see how it plays out. I don't think LeBron will stay down for too long but he has destroyed team chemistry trying to orchestrate the Anthony Davis trade. An offseason isn't going to make the young guys want to be on the same team with him.

CWebb isn't an awful commentator anymore. I love the guy but for years he didn't add much. Reggie is alright but can be pretty biased at times and then there is the ageless Marv "Bite me" Albert. That Doris Burke is good. She's a horny little thing though, she's always touching the guys.
Right. CWebb was terrible in the beginning, but he's gotten a whole lot better. It also helps to have a 3rd person there who is pretty knowledgeable like Reggie. I know Reg can be biased sometimes, but he speaks truth. Marv (smh). If I have to hear him say "in the face" one more time. I wish they would develop a TV that allowed you to mute certain commies w/o muting the entire broadcast. Apparently Doris can't help herself. She obviously isn't getting enough at home. When she's not touching them, she does a pretty good job of praising them as well.

We will see if the scrubs make any adjustments on offense and defense tonight. Don't be allergic to actually running screens as well as having Giannis attack from the baseline. On defense don't have all 5 players and your mascot converge on Kawhi the second he puts it on the floor. Aside from that light a fire under the scrubs' asses on defense. That was their identity all year and yet they are getting blown by at will by literally every Raptor player aside from Gasol and Ibaka. And for the love of Christ you can't have 2 or more of the 3 slow white stiffs on the floor at the same time (Mirotic, Ilyasova, Lopez). They got away with it at times against Boston because those guys weren't playing well together. They are getting eaten alive this series as the defense is especially pathetic when that happens. Starters should be prepared to go 42+ minutes tonight aside from Bledsoe. I'd have benched his ass already as he's been worthless on both ends. He has made career playoff choker Lowry look like a top 5 player in the league. This is a continuation of last year in the playoffs when he was the worst player on the court for either team. Signing him before the end of the season was Horst's only huge mistake so far. Bledsoe should have been let go after this season since he sucks in the playoffs.

Clearly what they've been doing hasn't worked on either end of the floor. I hate regular season awards in basketball for this reason. Giannis and Budenholzer will get MVP and coach of the year but they sure as hell don't look like it in the playoffs.

Trying to score a ticket but looks like it will not happen.
Raptors are in uncharted territory. Going for their first finals. They are lucky they have some guys that have been there . Experience like that can calm a team down. Elimination/Close out games separate men from the boys. Bucks will have to play a complete game with no let ups, Raptors will have to come out all guns blazing and put the claw on the throat of the Bucks and squeeze, and then squeeze some more to see if they will fold...I doubt it though...May come down to the wire again.

God what an awful team and a fitting end. Going down without a fight. Worthless turds. Clock is on for Giannis, not sure they'll keep him and after this series not sure he matters. Wonder what they could get in a trade actually.

Can't trust anyone that shrinks like that in the playoffs. He sucked on offense, couldn't rebound, couldn't hit free throws, and couldn't defend. Maybe his trade value is high still.

Kudos to Raps. Down 0-2, they win 4 in a row. I am not sure that is something that has been achieved a lot. Their defense is right up there with the best of them .
They have home against the GSW but of course are huge underdogs. Funny thing is I had season tickets when Dell Curry was with the Raps and Steph and his brother were like 6-7 years old and they would go on the floor before games with Dell and jack up 3s one after another. Steph grew up learning to shoot in Toronto.

No team has ever wanted to make me shoot myself in the head more. And given the choking Packer squads throughout the years that is saying something. They better have a whole new roster next year, period.

Hopefully they take Toronto's cue and fire the coach of the year. I see too much George Karl in Bud. Incapable of adjustments and just plays his favorites. He loves Bledsoe and I'm guessing he was a factor in giving that scrub a huge contract during the year instead of waiting to see what he'd do in the playoffs. Resigning Middleton would be a mistake too, that guy can't guard a statue and is a barely above average offensive player. Not a max player. Unfortunately I'm not sure they'd be able to go after a big free agent even if they let certain players leave. I'd target Brogdon, Lopez and Hill. And get Giannis a sports psychologist. This was his 4th playoffs and he sucks cock every year in the playoffs. He was what...the 5th best player in the series after Leonard, Lowry, VanVleet and Siakam? Maybe even Hill was better.
