I think the Warriors still would have won last year if Paul didn't get hurt but it'd have been interesting for sure. Him being out made those last 2 games a formality.

Well they are definitely better with him. I know you remember how bad they were last year in G6-7. All those bricked 3's and even with his generous paycheck, Harden couldn't buy a shot last year and that was the WCF, this was a semi.
yup for sure. Folks need to understand that champions elevate as much as they need to and no more. If CP3 had been there the Dubs would have done what needed to be done

Why is there no G7 tonight? Why did both East/West get 2 days of rest? The next round doesn't start until Wed. The NBA really likes dragging out the post season

Well since each has a game 7 I think it works out alright. But there do seem to be more days off this postseason than normal. It's stretched out far enough as is.

Blazers are making a break from it. Jokic gone a bit quiet. He better step up or start booking his holiday..

wow... Nuggets trying to do a 2018 Rockets. Missed the last 16 3 pointers. Surprised Jokic isn't trying to do some bully ball here. I know he's being double teamed but it feels like he could be more aggressive

Is it going to be Dame time now? A dagger 3 could do it, just like against OKC. 30 seconds left

CJ came through there, nice mid-range. What have the Nuggets got?

Told ya. McCollum is more consistent. He went off today. Did what Damien should've done (put the team on his back and carry them to the finish line).

This has not been entertaining. The West G7 was much more exciting. Everyone is standing around waiting for Kawhi to score. It's kind of embarrassing. Gasol has been useless tonight. Lowry is doing other things but not really scoring. Ciakam is scared to shoot.

That is exactly right and Raps did not play like this all year ! Everything was flowing. Now they are riding Kawhi. This is stupid. When you play your style of ball that you did all year, things flow.

OMG. The last 60 seconds of this game were epic. Can't believe Kawhi got the love bounce on the last shot. Raps advance to play the Greeks.

I feel bad for Embiid. He was weeping like a baby as he walked off.

Missed both games with Mother's Day stuff. Looks like both were good. Have to admit I preferred the 76ers as I see them as a much easier draw than the Raptors but even Philly is dangerous with Embiid and their overall talent in the starting 5.

Raps can cause some matchup issues though, a lot of size that can defend the perimeter. Boston was able to make Lopez worthless on offense and I suspect Toronto can do the same but they also have more legit options to defend Giannis. I think the main advantage Bucks had vs Boston is that they had the best player in that series by a country mile. That is not the case here. I do think Giannis is certainly better than Kawhi at this point but it's much closer than Kyrie. Hopefully they learned their lesson and come out strong in game 1 this time. I definitely don't expect them to win both road games against Toronto like they did vs Boston. Should be a good series.

I like what I am seeing defense wise from Raps. Their offense has stagnated in the playofffs though, people are afraid to take open shots and everyone defers to Kawhi. That will not do. They have to get back to the free flowing style.
Gasol made life difficult for Embiid. I think he will do the same to Lopez. Giannis is a different matter all together. I think Siakam and Kawhi will take turns. Let's see how this works.
