Some serious schooling by Kawhi. The guy is amazing.
Raps will win this one but the bench has been the quietest I have seen them in a long time. They have to be dominating the Sixers bench.
Pretty solid job on Embiid and overall great defense.

I'd have to think it's a pretty bad matchup for the 76ers and in general they are still a cut below the other three top teams in the East. The Raps have the size and athleticism to give Embiid problems but still, Embiid is incredible and if he does get going he gives Philly a shot.

^If Houston don't do it this time, when will they ever. KD looks like a problem all by himself of course

I'd say Houston may have a decent window if KD and others leave after this season.

Bucks - Celtics begins today. Can't shake the bad feeling honestly. This series is insanely important for both franchises and has consequences going forward. I feel like it will get to the point where Giannis may have to win it by himself and I'm not sure he's at that point yet. The Brogdon injury is huge and I think he's milking it. Just around the time he got hurt he was saying how Milwaukee is the most segregated city he's ever seen. He's right, but that makes me worried he doesn't want to be here. If he was in and healthy the Bucks would win this in 6 at most.

what if AD decides to replace KD at GSW? That has to be a possibility surely?

I hear you re: Celtics vs Bucks. I"m really looking forward to that one today. What an evening of sport, they're showing that and GSW v HR live over here :popcorn:hoops:

I am curious about this, even though totally off topic. I never had an idea. How come?

I'm not sure why. It's just a reality and it has been that way for a long time. It is just not progressive. And Brogdon is a good, smart and serious young player who is just expressing what he sees. I'm sure all the players realize it but some may brush it off or simply don't feel like speaking up. It's possible Brogdon does still want to be here too. I sure hope so! He is just a restricted free agent so chances are Milwaukee will keep him but he's going to get paid pretty big. 50-40-90 dudes who play great defense dont grow on trees.

Bucks resigned Bledsoe but still have Lopez, Brogdon and Middleton as free agents as well as a couple backups. It is a big summer and Middleton is the most interesting one to follow. The truth is he hasn't been good at all this season after the first month. He has been inefficient as a scorer and might now be their worst defender in the starting lineup. He got the all star bid because the team was doing so well and they just chose the guy with the most name recognition after Giannis. If the Bucks lose this series it's because Middleton and/or Bledsoe disappear IMO.

So I hope they don't overpay but on the other hand Giannis is such a loyal guy that he may be upset if they don't keep Middleton and of course the Bucks already have to be thinking about keeping Giannis after 2021.

AD is a free agent after next season and they are surely trading him this offseason unless they are crazy. I doubt he gets dealt to Golden State so it's probably unlikely they land him.

@DarthFed Your boys have to do better than 15 pts in the 1st if they want to get out of this round.

They look rustier than Boston. One of the reasons it is a bad matchup for Milwaukee is that they are too sloppy with the ball and Boston has active hands. Bledsoe, Middleton and Giannis all can get their pockets picked often and Boston will force a bunch of turnovers.

I get the sense they are going to have to give Giannis the LeBron like usage. They can't run a sembalance of a good offense against these guys without Giannis touching the ball.

Where do you think he lands? Is he coming East by chance?

If Boston makes the finals I think Kyrie may resign there in which case they get AD. If Boston loses this series they probably lose Kyrie and then I'm not sure they even try to deal for AD.

If Boston doesn't get him who knows, could still end up being LAL but their young players' value took a big hit this year and teams dealing with the Lakers have to realize they are in a position of power because none of those guys want to play with LeBron. Maybe the Clips go after AD but not sure what they could deal for him. If they still had Tobias Harris that'd have been a decent trade chip but he may be a free agent this year too.

Who is BOS going to deal for him? Horford and another player?

Giannis is embarrassing himself. That's why I hesitate to call him elite. True elite players can win these series by himself and don't have worthless games like this.

Turned into a blowout. Really disappointing for the young Bucks. They have to regroup and come out on fire for Game 2. Cannot give up both games on your home turf.

I knew this would end up a shit season after all. Wisconsin sports are sometimes decent in the regular season and make you think they are good but then they end up with pathetic seasons.

Giannis is not elite yet, that is clear. You never see a top guy play like this. Big difference between regular season and playoffs. This series is over.
