That's why no citation or fine was issued on the day of the accident. They knew then she hadn't done anything wrong, but since later on this resulted in a death and the family filing a lawsuit the police had to do an investigation to verify no law was broken.

Konta looking impressive. UK bookies have made her the favorite.
That means that she will probably choke at some point in the next couple of matches and gets booted. UK never learn their lesson. They put all that pressure on Andy and look how long it took him to win one. Remember when Robson was fairly competitive? Same thing Too much pressure.

Well.... Konta is one of the highest seeds left in the draw, she is playing at home. etc... so the bookies have every right to get excited.
Doesn't mean they know what they are talking about. Pressure comes with the territory. And if Konta does go down in the next of couple of rounds it doesn't necessarily mean she choked either.

Just watched Garbine Muguruza professionally take out Cristea 6-2 6-2.
You can add the statuesque Spaniard, former Grand Slam champion and Wimbledon finalist to the growing list of contenders.

But, when she loses they can claim she is an Aussie.:yahoo:

Both Aga and Angie were on verge of defeat but pulled out the second set from their hats.

Both matches are even.

Angie looked really, really poor for most of her match - the first two sets.
She will have trouble with Muguruza in the next round.
I don't fancy either of them, so absolutely no horse in that race

Mugu will likely win that match and then get booted in QF.

Woz shows she can pull set out of her visor too. Takes second set tie-breaker.
She tops it off with an early break in the decider.

I agree with most of your selections except.....

Kuznetsova to defeat Radwanska,I feel she has too much power overall for Aga and has won their last 3 meetings. Also I am a huge Sveta fan, even though I know she can be a 'headcase' at times:)

Even though she is still carrying a foot injury,I have been impressed with Svitolina in this tournament,I will pick her to defeat Ostapenko.

16 ladies left, 13 are seeded. May as well be 14, Vika is unseeded.
Things will move fast from here, Monday we'll see the list shrink to 8 and Tuesday, it'll be 4

Great Minds:) in saying that I hope we don't come unstuck......Garcia has to be one of my favorite players on tour, she has the game to defeat anyone, her technique is great on both wings, though her mentally strength is not there,I wish she would get another coach than her father to take her to the next level.

Personally, I'd like to see Williams, Muguruza and Azarenka win their matches.
