They just played in a tune up final and Konta had chances to win, but Donna beat her in 3rd set TB.

Whats happening with Madison Keys? She is 5-0 down against Camilla Girogi. A surprising scoreline for a player I thought had a great grass court game. She could be another Bouchard.

Is Madison Keys still injured or just playing bad? I had high hopes for her.

Madison did have wrist surgery late last year, also had another wrist operation to remove scar tissue just recently I think that is the prime reason she is struggling with her game of late.

Match of the day was definitely Konta d. Vekic. Added bonus was the mellifluous voice of Kader Nouni in the chair.

Apparently he has quite the following. Not surprising. "The Barry White of Tennis."
All we need to complete this pic is some fans throwing their panties at his umpire chair. :lulz2:

Shock of the day was Petra Kvitova going out to Madison Brengle
Sort of. Kvitova was looking so unwell at the end of that match. It was hot. She called the trainer. Brengle did well to fight hard to find a way against a great player who wasn't ready to go farther, at this point. Kvitova has made a brave comeback, but this was as far as she could go, for the moment. Fair enough.

She gave ostapenko everything she could handle, she could have won in straight sets, very simply ..she may be one of the stars of the future or next generation
