In all honesty, I do not want to talk about court conditions and the changing of tennis balls.
But, I DO want to talk about the Round of 16 matches in both the men's and women's field. Seriously, one of the most interesting Rd of 16 matches in recent years.
The three matches that should have a straight forward results are:
Murray over Paire
Djokovic over Mannarino
Cilic over Bautista-Agut
Unless there are some major circumstances, those three matches should be over in three sets.
Now for the other five Rd of 16 matches, all five of them could be VERY interesting.
Nadal vs. Muller
Raonic vs. Zverev
Thiem vs. Berdych
Anderson vs. Querrey
Federer vs. Dimitrov
In the matches mentioned above, any one of the men could win their respective matches. I hope we could see some popcorn matches...
My picks in the 5 mentioned matches:
Nadal in four
Zverev in five
Thiem in four
Anderson in five
Federer in four OR five
By the way, if the higher seeds do prevail tomorrow, just like in Roland Garros, 7 of the Top 8 seeds will occupy the Quarterfinals slots. Coincidentally, the 5th seed is the only seed not to reach the Quarterfinals in both slams.
