As I said two days ago, JJ is an extreme head case but he has the physical attributes to have won a Wimby title. He is very emotionally unstable but can take out anybody.
His game is too one-dimensional, a male Sharapova. Just hits everything as hard as he can from the back of the court.

Nadal is having a nice three set practice run on the centre court I think.

I prefer McEnroe to most other commentators. There are several who provide no insight whatsoever.

Hate to say it but Nadal looks in good shape.

Boris Becker commenting. I wonder if he took the bus this morning to Wimbledon. Did he bring his lunch package?

For all his faults, I can still appreciate the guy. I'll take Becker any day over McEnroe.
John Mac is not too bad. I know he does make outrageous statements sometimes, but he makes excellent analysis, especially when it comes to subtle aspects of the game. Becker is good too.

How on earth did Brown beat Rafa twice? His game has so many shortcomings.
1st time Rafa was just accepting and collecting an appearance fee afterwards winning RG..the 2nd time ..he was just totally clowned by Brown.. I wrote about it last night

Poor Young. Nadal can be brutal on the mental aspects of the game. He knows when to put the hammer down.

Rafael Noddoll has the greatest forehand of all time. As I said, Roger Federer has the greatest forehand of all time. Not saying Mac corrects or contradicts himself much :p Changes his mind every week.

Another one is calling Roger and Rafa joint greatest players of all time, which I think is an exaggeration.

Sharapova, the Wimby champ and finalist? This description fits Venus, the five time champ, as well. No?

Ah, I get you. I concede: if JJ would have undergone a sex change, he should have won Wimbledon. :D

Young has improved, but just isn't good enough for Nadal. Nadal would have had more trouble with tall, flat hitters.

In fact, there is a second dimension: he hits a lot of drop shots from the back court, and sometimes they click (but in general I agree with you). Anyway, if he improves his net game and keeps his power, he could surely be a helluva a trouble maker. In any case, I will wildly root for him against Murray (if he gets there, is R4, right?).

What is John Mac saying? I caught a glimpse of him on the screen. Unfortunately, I am not currently in the US.

Guess he doesn't want to call him the incredible shrinking man live on air but Nadal is smaller than teenagers at my gym now.
