So a place he had trouble winning and didn't is better than winning everywhere, like Nadal?

Borg always said he'd play the AO if he won the USO, (when the AO was at the end of the year. ) It was still his choice.

Nadal is definitely the most fit and mentally/competitively greatest tennis player of all time.

Fiero, I have another question: How many times does Nadal have beaten Fed/Murray/Nole on a hard court slam

Thanks, Cali. That's only taken you about 12 years.

He maps out matches very intelligently and there is something to be said for hardly ever getting tired.

I still think Federer and Djokovic lost numerous matches to him they never should have.

Um, let's say you started to concede his mentality a few years ago.

Now, compare that to this question: How many times have Fed/Murray/Nole have beaten Nadal on Clay?

Yes, Cali, but "shouldn't have lost" is a limp argument.

No to be fair, Cali always lauded Nadal's mentality. In fact, it was his argument as to why Nadal isn't that talented, and compensates with his mental toughness and fitness.

No Moxie, I always recognized Nadal's mentality. I rooted for him in the 2008 Wimbledon final. Then I joined the tennis.com board at the end of 2008 and turned on Nadal when Mike and Huntingyou argued that he won the 2009 Aussie Open because he is simply better than Federer and Federer had no options.

Yes, BS, but even that took him a few years to concede.

Which I don't buy, obviously, but that's always been his argument.

I said that Nadal isn't that talented when compared to the shotmaking of the other very elite players, yes.
