Roger up 6-1 in their last seven games, after the 0-4 start. Ouch.

So one of you tennis players tell me: Why can't Kei read or return Roger's serve as well now? What did Roger do in terms of adjustment?

I have to give Nishikori credit. He bends over for Roger more than he does for Novak. Roger seemed to be getting used to daily conditions, but he should be good now.

Honestly, I think Roger was serving very well even when down 4-1. Kei himself has a poor, often very erratic serve and throws in lots of double faults and my opinion is once he saw Roger catching up on the scoreboard he just started getting edgy/nervous and once the doubts kick in, your own game often falls apart. Imagine how disheartening it must be to blow a big lead. Don't think Roger did anything different really although he did throw in a few body serves as I said he'd need to do.

Kei is screwed now.

I don't understand why kei relaxed at 5-1 and all those soft serves and volleys

Pick Me. Pick Me. I know the answer to this. Because........

He's a case.

So much for this being over. Roger really blew this set.

That was what drives me crazy about Roger in a nut-shell. Its like he loses his killer edge and softens up just when he needs to crack down. Let's face it: Roger has never been a great big moment player. He plays great as long as the match isn't too close.

Roger needs to slow down a bit, craft some opportunities. He looks like he's trying to hit too many winners, and ending up with a lot of errors.

Honestly..it wasn't Roger's to loose.. Kei stepped his game back up..loosing the first set would crush most but Roger has been there before

Meanwhile Stan and Tsonga both won and will play against each other in second quarterfinal.

I don't know if Rafa can stay with Kei from the baseline for the next few sets

I know it is early to make this comment, but let me do so anyway.

If this match goes to five sets, Fed will probably not win.

Kei has the best five set record of all the players in open era.

Fed has one of the worst five set record among the top players.

So, Fed must focus and finish in 4.
