She has a beautiful backhand but maybe she is too little to play against those tall and strong girls but her game is a pleasure to watch and her behavior is the best

Carol, we are so on the same page. That's exactly how I feel; I love Carla's game, but she's so small next to those girls. Sometimes I wish there was a height requirement on the men's and women's side. I love how she carries herself too. She seems like a really nice person.

Well McHale took a set off Serena on the HC this year.Serena knew she was in for a tight match.McHale is not at all intimated by Serena.McHale's first serve was off at critical points in the match.Great rally on McHale's serve in the 3rd set,15-30 won by McHale.Serena's footwork and serves needs to improve moving forward,Serena did serve out the match to love,a good display of serving.

The Pocket Rocket comes through a potentially tough tie against Genie. Cibby on a great streak and in great form.

No real surprise to see Petra flake out once more... sad to see a player with such a big game really lacking the intangibles.

Good win for Lucie @Tennis Fan - I hear she saved a match point in the process. Let's hope she's still got her legs for the next round.

The Pocket Rocket is also going great guns... I had a vibe she'd lose to Genie but she came through strong.

Sloane just blew an opportunity to serve for the match against Svetlana. Back on serve. 5-4 in the decider.

So glad to see Dominika come through. She's been playing great tennis all year.

They are not showing anything but reruns on the TV. What was the point of having the Middle Sunday? Ugh! Missed this match and all of the others. Crazy.

It took me a while to find it. So happy for Lucie. She's getting back on track.

The Sloane/Kuz match was pretty good - a rollercoaster battle with momentum swings. Sloane had opportunities to win this but Svetlana was tougher on the big points.
