Poor final but well done Novak. Ties Roy Emerson's record here and will most likely break it next year.

Djokovic has now won 11 of the last 12 matches against Murray and I can't see the trend changing either. Same situation against Nadal. Becoming the new Serena Williams v Sharapova with the outcome never in doubt.

Congrats Novak! poor final but who cares, you are doing well but we can't say the same about the others.
Control/power or for certain circumstances simply a weak era? :cover :nono :dodgy
At the present there is more and better rivalry between the women than men though the strength of Serena still is there

Congrats to Novak! He is certainly knocking on some doors with this win. Now win the French and do something Roger and Nadal have never been able to do and hold all 4 titles at once. He has already passed Nadal in a lot of things and is close to Nadal's number of titles as well. A lot happening in the Novak camp. I hope he can stay healthy for at least 3-4 years.

DVR'd the match and went to bed. Doesn't sound as though it was compelling.

11 Slams for Novak. He is in the rarefied air now, tied with Borg and Laver.

Djokovic v Murray is the least exciting match up of the "big four" or one time big four. Federer v Djokovic, Djokovic v Nadal and Nadal v Murray usually provide the most entertaining matches.

Lately though, any match up versus Djokovic isn't compelling with any of them. The only one who makes it interesting is Stan when they play. For some reason, Stan gets under his skin.

Congrats to the Champion. There was zero doubt in my mind but you never know. Novak is enjoying his 04-07 years in Fed terms, and it is looking good. What is fuelling him even more I think is he remembers his third fiddle years to Rafa and Roger very well .

And no, I do not watch Nole-Murray matches as a principle. I am sure it had its moments.

NOLE NOLE NOLE! I will try to sit through it later... Although these matches can be like watching paint dry.

Found this article about the CVAC and its creators. From what I read it doesn't seem that any of the claimed benefits are verified.

http://www.outsideonline.com/1930416/secret-science-novak-djokovics-training-pod

Which part of twice as effective as blood doping do you appear to have missed here? :s

There's a problem with that statement. The article is pretty clear that those who run CVAC systems have no scientific evidence to back up any of their claims. That all of the primary people are in such severe financial straits suggests that the egg really does not do what they claim. Nobody seems to be buying it.

Just finished watching the rerun shown on ESPN2 at 9:00 a.m. in "live for me" mode.

Looks like Andy moved the 6-1 set to the beginning instead of storing it for the end, for a change.
Congrats to Novak, for winning yet another AO and becoming undisputed King of down under. :clap

Andy actually played the second set very well (even better than the third set). He played it aggressively with a lot of winners, as compared to Novak's. Too bad that he could not win that set and
give us a more competitive match.
