I don't believe anything Novak says about being hurt or injured. He's cried wolf and played possum so many times that he won't get any sympathy from me. That being said, I don't see Andy winning this match. He can be in great form throughout a tournament, then show up to play Novak and forget he's a professional tennis player. Novak in 3 more likely straights.

Certainly hope you are correct.

Who doesn't run game on all of us? Who starts limping around more than Murray when in the doldrums? Then you have Isner looking as if he's on his last legs, but pushes through to long, hard-fought match wins that are quite ugly in nature! ;-)

Don't forget that Novak's idol was the great Pete Sampras, maestro of the wounded bear manoevre. Not his fault if the opponent falls for it, like Murray did in Oz. You have to play the ball, not the man. If Novak is or isn't injured, that should have an effect on Murray...

Oh I agree completely. Novak injured or not, Andy will still be a mess of a tennis player today.

Going by what I've seen so far this week I personally have no reason to think Andy will be a mess today. Granted, Nishikori made him look better than he was in set 2 of their match but, even so, Andy is playing pretty well and I think he'll win this one rather easily like 6-3 6-4. But I hope I'm completely and utterly wrong and Novak makes it 9 straight :p

Nice fight back from Nole... points away from going down 1-5 and now he's back on serve.

God but these Brit commentators are horrible... I think they wet themselves at the thought of Andy closing it out with a baguette. Now they are rather somber.

Yeah, Mark Petchey is an imbecile.

Yeah, Mark Petchey is an imbecile.

He's such a gushing brown-noser, he has dingleberries hanging out of his nostrils.

Same old chapter once again. Murray plays well for the first 7 games, then suddenly lose concentration against Djokovic.

:laydownlaughing:clap He takes the Murray worship to unheard of levels. Annoys the $h1t out of me the way he goes on about the "British number 1" as well. No one gives a damn who is number one of anywhere but the world rankings.

He's still ahead by the way.
