RE: Roland Garros - Day 8, Sunday May 31 - Order of Play

Roger roars a mighty roar and breaks immediately, but this has happened already in MC this year, twice...

Monfils clowning early by losing serve 40-15 up, hopefully he gets it under control.

Fed will first take out the crowd and then take out La Monf. This is a good way to keep the crowd quiet, going up 3-0

I can't remember a player who has such a fluctuating level as Monfils. Sometimes he looks like an elite player, sometimes a total mess. One player that comes to mind is Dolgopolov.

Yeah they are similar in that sense. Although Dolgopolov is almost always a total mess and only rarely an elite player.

Fed is not looking good either, despite the break up.

Fed is NOT getting booed for having a second look at that call against a French player. Have not seen that all week.

Fed takes the first 6 - 3.

I'm afraid Monfils left his mojo in the locker room a couple of hours ago.

Impressive first set. I think the odds of Gael winning this have just gone down dramatically. Always felt he needed the first set
