Edmunds did very well to take the first two sets. A mix of being outplayed, fatigued and inexperienced hauled him down in the end...

Murray up next. Just saw a stat on Twitter.

Murray has won the last 36 matches against lefthanders not named Nadal. :snicker

Murray takes the first set 6-3. Bemelmans showing nothing much other than drop shots right now.

Murray gets second warning for swearing and a point penalty. lol

He's up by too much to be acting like this! He's not on "home soil!" What does he expect? :puzzled :nono  :dodgy: :cover

The only way he will learn is he will be penalized every time he does it.

That will not be enough. He should be penalized and lose a match due to that like it happened to Serena.

Kyle Edmonds is ranked 100 and Bermelmans is ranked 108. So, in the unlikely event that this goes to the 5th rubber, Kyle can come out a hero by defeating Bermelmans, considering Kyle's play in the opening match and their relative rankings.

Can you imagine the pressure on those two if it goes to a fifth match. My gawd. Bemelmens would have to have the advantage. And they might bring Darcis in for the fifth match if I remember right.

UK are favorites in the doubles by miles. Jamie Murray is ranked 7th in doubles and he even made it to London, not to say anything about Andy. I think each one of the doubles guys from Belgium is ranked outside 100. Should be a easy one for GB.
