I swear this commentator (sounds like Cliff Drysdale but it's on Eurosport) is trying to put the commentators curse on Berdych.

OK, so I'm not being a sore loser, but look at that admittedly good DTL forehand winner Berdych just hit. Out of context, it's great. In context, Nadal had been feeding him short balls throughout that rally, taking racket head speed off, and hitting with no power or depth. It's easy for something to get overstated.

Yowzas. Seriously, where has this Berdych been the last 5 or so years. Playing so smart. So measured. Keeping calm. We'll see if he does indeed finally tighten up with these two points.

That return was not deep enough. But I wouldn't call it a tight shot. He's got two serves for the win.

Nope. There he is. Can't miss that first serve. And he did. Good ole head case Berdych. Yes Rafa playing some great shots. But they were there because of less effective shots from Berdych and missing that first serve.

Still believes in his second serve return though thank goodness. As he should. Rafa's second offering is terrible.

Better depth from Nadal (per the commentator) and ... lesser depth from Berdych.
