Nadal has Youzhny in the first round and could potentially face Rosol in the third round.

Who's he got early doors?

EDIT: thanks Rafanoy! If he gets through Youzhney, it'll be a great start.

Any great standout matches in round one?

Dimitrov vs. Dustin Brown. There's gonna be a lot of shot making there

Delpo vs. Jerzy in the first round.

Well, there's prolly only two men there who could beat him, in fairness, and a lot of them will chop each other down before they'd face him.

And Reeshard, Kohl, Dimi, T-Rob - he would pray he gets these fellers...

Isner might be one player in Nole's quarter that might bother him, if he has one of those days. Maybe Milos too.

Stan will be bothered by bunch of people depending on his form. Kei for sure.

Nadal is fine after Youzhny I think.

Roger should be OK till Murray. Murray-Dimitrov quarter might be epic.

Believe me, I know. This side of the draw is very manageable. Just like the women's draw, the #1 seed's is stacked, but #2 seed is licking their chops.

That is the reason I am kinda happy because Nadal could reach the semifinals assuming he plays well. This is the type of draw that he would like especially if he wants to shake off rust.

But, like Kieran said, I will be cautiously optimistic about Nadal. You will never know what will happen...

Someone always has to get screwed. It was Federer's turn I guess. I will be surprised if Nadal makes the quarterfinals. Berdych beats Federer in the semis, and faces Nishikori in the final.

Perfect!

I'm not really optimistic, because I think he's just carrying too much rust. But he's always willing to battle, which is the only thing I see in his favour right now...

My Fav Aussie youngster Kokkinakis drew 'I know I was the better player, even though I lost Gilbus'

Seeing Gilbus is a head case and cant be bothered turning up for matches.I give my Aussie a good chance of defeating him.

I could see why you are not optimistic. I don't blame you especially after what happened last year.

For me, every new year is a fresh start. So, although he had a lot of injuries last year, I believe he will play well this year.

Also, it is a Slam so I know Nadal will raise his level up especially knowing he missed a lot of time because of his injuries.

I rather have him rusty than have a injury going into a tournament.

That's why I am happy with his draw because this is the type of draw where he could shake off his rust without spending too much energy.

I still think Djokovic is the favorite and he should be the favorite. This is his best slam and he is determine to regain his home turf.

I am more curious about the other guys like Raonic, Nishikori, and Stan. Can they sustained the level they achieved last year?
