Finally, JMDP fires his doctors and asks for second opinion elsewhere. Skips RG. Don't know when or whether he will be back.

How could it have come to this? It's been what? Half a decade, and he's just now getting a second opinion?

The North American doctors suggested another wrist injury to him and he got tired of that suggestion and decided to consult South American doctors.

BTW, he has not officially fired his NA doctors. I embellished little bit. ;)

Yeah, can't wait. Would be nice if he played Nadal  Also wondering is Mardy Fish gonna play at Queens or Newport? Doubt he's ready for best of 5 but imagine he may give the smaller grass events a go and maybe the US hard court events and hang it up at the USO later this year.

Last year Mardy Fish and Andy Roddick wanted to play doubles at USO, but the organizers did not allow them. Most probably this year they will play doubles at USO and then Mardy will call it off.
I don't see him coming back in singles or doubles. This doubles with Andy is just to mark his end of career, that's all.

I heard that he wants to play Golf.

Yeah he's been playing golf for a while now. He played one match at Indian Wells earlier this year but I thought he might have a punt at grass court season best of 3 at least. We'll hear soon I guess. Would be good to see him play with Roddick alright. Would actually watch that.

Did anyone catch the cover of Charlie Hebdo this week by any chance? Seems they're taking the mick out of tennis this week. Ben Rothenberg posted this. Check it out.

I guess it's safe to say there won't be ATP players storming their offices. Still, that's a little over the top.

Rafa has indicated that he may play in some Clay tourneys after Wimbledon (and before North American Masters) this year (probably to boost his rankings and/or to get rhythm).

It's called "desperation!" :cover :nono  :dodgy: - It's something I expected a while back; coming out of nowhere earlier this year with loss in semi to FFF in a semi in Brazil! :p
