Just a quick summary from the finals day at Apia International,Sydney.
Mens doubles winners Rohan Popana/Daniel Nestor d Jean Julien Roger/Horia Tecau 64 76(5)
A really competitive doubles match,but in the end the experience of Nestor,who happens to be one of my favorite all time doubles player was the difference his volley at Championship Point was just Awesome.
Kukkushkin v Triocki....Triocki had too much power off the ground for Kukushkin,Troicki's first serve was impressive all match,from memory he served 12 aces,he had nice touch on his volleys.
Kukushkin had tape on the back of his thighs,maybe a result of having to play qualifier's to get to the final.Made too many UFE,his first serve let him down.Triocki d Kukushkin 62 63 a well deserved win.
In the expo match between Pat Rafter and John McEnroe my Fav Aussie was too good...winning in 2 sets.
