Not watching the match but Murray's stats are about as bad as it gets for Wimbledon. 24 UE's in 2 sets is astronomical the way they call UE's. Dimi's stats are mediocre too, 60% and 21-14 winners to errors. Obviously stats aren't everything. Main thing is Dimitrov is 1 set away from a true breakout win.

Regardless, good effort from Dimi to win the 2nd set after the break back. That was probably the only point in the match the crowd was going nuts and he rebounded to win in a TB.

Yep, this time is a much taller order. Dimi has the big serve and is just an all around better player than Verdasco.

JMac already declared Rafa, "The GOAT!" He lost all credibility with me with that one! At the time Nadal had several FO's, the 2 Wimbledons, only 1 USO, and the 1 AO! I still won't do that with more FO's and the extra USO! :nono :lolz: :angel:

Anything to take a dig at Roger and JMac is all over that. JMac has been bitter towards Roger for years, stemming back to him not wanting to take Mac on as coach/adviser in taking on Rafa.

Kind of reminds me of Bud Collins after the 2007 final when Roger declined the on court interview after the trophy presentation. What is it they say about scorned women? :snigger
