When GGL beat Stan, and then continued on, I was bummed I hadn't picked him as my WC. But I just looked back. I DID pick him as my WC! :snigger Hopefully he beats Monfils so I can get a few points off of him.

Well done to have picked GGL. I think he'll beat Monfils, so you will get your bonus points.

Winner: Djokovic
Finalist: Nadal
Semi Finals: Murray, Federer
Quarter Finals: Ferrer, Monfils, Robredo, Nishikori
Dark Horse: Dolgopolov
Wild Card: Dimitrov

If Nadal beats Ferrer, Murray beats Monfils, Nadal beats Murray, Djokovic beats Nadal, I'll be on for some decent points.

Nishikori, Dolgopolov, Federer and Dimitrov have been somewhat disastrous though. In hindsight, I'm quite shocked that I overlooked Gulbis entirely.

OK everyone, what you've all been waiting for. Here's the key:

Total Points (AO + RG) Name (Roland Garros points)

42 Kieran (26)
42 secrettennisjunkie (25)
41 ftan (14, includes -9 late penalty)
41 Moxie629 (25)
39 El Dude (22)
37 britbox (22)
*37 fashionista (28)
37 rahulpawar (21, includes -6 late penalty)
*34 crystalfire (25)
34 Riotbeard (20)
*33 tented (24)
31 Denisovich (17, includes -6 late penalty)
*30 TennisFanatic7 (21)
29 kstake2 (15)
*29 Moose (20)
*29 nehmeth (20)
*28 fedfan (19)
*23 TsarMatt (14)
*21 1972Murat (12)
*18 Bounce It! (9, includes -9 late penalty)
18 GoldenBoy (1)
17 Luxilon Borg (1)
15 rafanoy1992 (1)
15 The AntiPusher (1)
15 askh (1)
13 zalvar (1)

12 GameSetAndMath (2)

*an asterisk denotes the player received default points or AO (9)
italics means the player did not participate in RG, so received a default point (1)

Congratulations to fashionista who had the highest point total for Roland Garros (28), followed by Kieran (26) and a few tied with 25. Rahulpawar would have been second with 27, but he had a -6 late penalty.

Honorable mention goes to GameSetAndMath who finished last both tournaments, no doubt due to daring picks.

Anyhow, as always feel free to double-check my numbers. Remember, it is 12 for the win, 8 for the runner-up, 3 for semifinal, 1 for quarterfinal, and darkhorse and wildcard receive whatever points they finished at.

Whoops, sorry my man! I added you in - I had missed your votes earlier. You got a two day late penalty.

No, I called it during the Ferrer match, I said in many pm's that he drops only one more set - max - by the end of this event. I've called against Rafa before in big matches, but I didn't see anything to shake my long held view that Rafa over five in Paris drops usually only one set against the next best...

Highly convenient, but if any of your fellow mods want to disclose the contents of pm's I sent them, and the dates, they can be my guests. Hard to openly predict the score on the forum when I'm Rafa's secret lucky charm, by not posting... ;)

It's not that convenient since I've never seen Kieran pick against Nadal, ever (literally). So I'm pretty sure he picked him to win. In fact, I'd ask for proof if he said he DIDN'T.

:lolz: Get over yourself, brother: You. Were. Wrong. ;)

I picked against Rafa in the slam finals against Nole in 2011, but after this, the question should always be asked, given his record against everybody, anywhere, on what basis could you pick against him?

The easy way is for someone to follow the herd and say Nole was gonna win. That would cover your back, right? Not my style. ;) I picked Rafa to drop only one more set in the tourney - before he'd finished his match with Daveed Ferrer... :)
