AP and Ricardo, get a room. This is a tennis forum, try to keep the conversation relevant and at least not purely insulting.

Relax... We are just having some prematch banter, its all good. I am leaving to go work on my Rafa fh , Fed bh and my Sampras serve.

Does the backhand break down when you're hitting against the practice wall?

I know you're all waiting to see how I will vote. :D I won't call this one. The momentum swings in their matches are insufferable and too many to calculate any advantage for one player over the other. I will say this, if Novak allows this to slip through his fingers yet again he will be inconsolable and likely shed :cry .

i "forgot" to vote :)..prob be 5 sets dunno who to..i mean djokovic has dominated rafa recently but when its a French open final/sf then megarafa always seems to appear.

Unfortunately yes.. I have been tinkering with learning the Djoker's bh.. Its has more bite and is better for return of serves.:clap

Karlovic/Isner tops Sampras's serve by miles, should learn from them.

however, it's only his first RG final.

Novak's first? That was 2012.

Did anyone notice there is a doubles final going on?
#12 seeds against #11 seeds
Spaniards against French.
Interested?

I was interested, unfortunately was not home. But I am super delighted about the outcome!!!
Especially for Julien Benneteau who failed so many times to grab an ATP title!

Benneteau with Roger Vasselin won the first slam final for France after Noah and Laconte in 1984!
It is their first slam title in doubles, after they teamed up only recently ( they had success in doubles with different partners before).
And for a change, they are not just double specialists, both having decent top 100 ranking at the moment

Or maybe it's bugging him after playing the strong serving/hitting Ernests Gulbis?

We're going to see what's going on tomorrow.

I don't see why he put a photograph like that up on FB if there were anything wrong with his wrist. It may be part of how they protect it when he's not playing?

They are pretty media savvy to make such an obvious mistake the day before a slam final. Probably means nothing. Very hopeful...

Well, they are playing chess in the picture. Maybe the subtext is: "Your move, Rafa." Look on Nadal's FB page for a picture of him playing ping-pong against Carlos Costa with his left arm in a sling.
