All right gents, the lawn needs mowed. No bagels for the Djoker at least.

No need to mow. Just call Djoker up. He will eat it up. ;)

Poor Billie and herios. On to Cinci!

Both watching it live? Not pleasant viewing for Novak fans for sure.

Luckily, I was busy today so I did not watch it at all. That was a good thing:mad:

Definitely good. He looked totally disinterested out there more than rusty to me. Presume he'll be more focused for the more important Cincy.

You say "more important" because it's the last one before the Open? (Just curious.)

No, because it's the only one he needs to hold all the masters titles.

Oh, funny…I almost mentioned that, but I thought that was something his fan-base was more focused on. But, agreed: personally for Djokovic, in terms of legacy/resume, Cincy is more important. Though, the momentum going into the Open wouldn't hurt, either.

Yea I'd say Cincy is more important regardless since it is right before the Open and plays more similar to USO than Canada does. It has extra importance for Djokovic since he hasn't won there, it is pretty much the exact same situation with Nadal not winning Miami.

Although Nadal needs not just Miami but also Bercy. Djoker needs just Cincy.

watched some of sir grigor's victory earlier..:) sneaked through with a couple of late breaks in sets 1 and 3.

robredo played in a surprisingly lively and energetic manner..unless that's his normal approach, I dunno.

does he have to win shanghai masters (which he hasn't so far)..or the 8th slot out of 9 in the masters series. if its the 8th slot I think he won Madrid on hc in 2005 v lubicic.

Shanghai replaced Madrid as the post USO hard court tourney. Rafa has won Madrid
when it was played in hard courts. Hence, even though Rafa did not technically
win Shanghai, he would be widely considered to have won all nine Masters if he wins
Miami and Bercy.

I'm no expert on this, but I thought Cincy is the fastest of the 3. My understanding was that Roger's Cup plays more similar to Flushing Meadows. (As to Nadal, others have explained it well above.)

Jules breaks Milos and Milos breaks right back. This is entertaining.
