You deserted me herios:laydownlaughing You didn't see me give my card to Nole after the doubles match. He thought I was giving him something to sign, but I said "it's for you, take it, from your fans"...he looked at me and said: thank you and took my card. I was so happy.

Fun day at the Rexall Centre, a little bit too much excitment with Nole and Le Monf. I am still in Toronto and I am going back there tomorrow to make sure Nole keeps winning.:D

I saw F3's doubles match, he lost that one as well....too bad. He did look nice, dressed all in white.:)

Sorry Billie, I must say nobody is as dedicated as you are, but I was not able to see anything of that doubles match so therefore I left. Folks several inches taller than me were standing in front of me with their hands up taking photos and videos. What do you think I could see then?:cry

What on earth is everyone playing at today? Nole and Raonic taking third set tie breaks to win, Grigor dropping a set to Donald Young, and now Berdy to Yen Hsun Lu. Odd.

djokovic not played since Wimbledon final exactly one month ago (july 6th)..dimitrov pulled out of citi500 Washington last week with a fever, might not be 100% today..he too has not played recently.

I don't want to keep hearing that someone did not play since Wimbledon. Fact of the
matter is most top players customarily do not choose to play (perhaps wisely) in any tournament
between Wimbledon and Canada Masters. After a long clay season and a sudden switch to
Grass, people need time to rest and regroup.

Nole played poorly yesterday, la Monf was injured and was close to win. Hope future dad can play better today and stay focused all match long

Fact of the matter is, when players take a break like this, they can be rusty. Nole certainly looked like he was shaking off the cobwebs. The extended break after Wimbledon is a factor in why big stars can look ordinary in the early rounds - especially in Nole's case, where he threw a wedding bash, to boot...

Playing Monfils(#22) in the first match back as opposed to a... Polansky(#129), didn't help matters any. Sure Le Monf has dropped in the rankings, but he's athletic and capable of causing trouble. Add that to the rust and you have what transpired yesterday.

Novak v Tsonga, and Murray v Gasquet, are two matches with an historic resonance. Not a nice one for the French, but still, these pairings have produced great matches in the past.

Wisely, they scheduled Nole first, just so's he doesn't cash in the option to tank :snigger but I doubt he'd be able to, even if he tried. Les Bleus will go down in flames...

Ha ha...grown woman behaving like a little kid more like it;)

It was my idea to congratulate him on his marriage so I bought a card and signed some of my friends' names along with some wishes for Nole and Jelena. We just wanted to tell him how much we loved him. When I messaged my sister to tell her that he took my card, her reply was LOL :lolz:

Looks like another beautiful day for tennis. Hopefully Nole spares us some drama this time, but I wouldn't bet on it. Tsonga was playing at the same time when we were on the main court so I have no idea how he's played so far as I couldn't check him at all. It doesn't matter I just enjoy watching Nole on court.

Enjoy your day folks!:D

Just once you didn't sign my name on that card without my permission. I refuse to be happy for him, since I didn't get my invite... :snigger

:laydownlaughing funny Kieran....

you are special in your own way, but you wouldn't make the cut to get on my card;)

I should have bought another one from Tennis Frontier then but I didn't think there would be much interest for it:)

Just a quick reminder that ESPN2 has live TV coverage of Canadaian Masters (ATP + WTA)
from 1 to 5 starting from today and lasting till sunday. If you don't have tennis channel, this
is your chance to see tennis on old fashioned tv this week.

Stanley Wow! is gone. Not a huge surprise, but still, if he wanted a good HC season, it hasn't started too well...

And Novak comes out on court and is following Stanley's path. Jo takes the opener 6-2
