Only fitting to end on a limp wristed error like that. Well deserved by Tsonga. Federer was a mere shadow of his former self.

Awful line judges even though that one Roger almost decapitated is hot

Now I wish I could see it... :nono

She screwed Roger on the first match point at 4-5, correcting her awful out call, and then he served the next one right at her, it was classic :clap

Good man, JW, he's beaten 3 of the 4 at this event, and gave Grigor a lesson too... :clap

Well there ends my confidence in Roger doing anything at USO. Another tailor made tournament gone awry.

He could still play well at Cincy Darth. That's his stomping ground anyway

37 ufes for Roger, only 18 for Jo. That sums the match up.

A deep run here might compromise him at his much stronger tournament. At this point it might not be a good thing for Roger to go deep in Cincy. Regardless, he has just been easily beaten by Tsonga in a final and lost a huge one to Stan earlier. Maybe he could beat Ferrer in a big match but that'd be about it.

Yeah Jo played better, no reason to jump ship. It happened. The guys outside of the top 4 are better than they often perform.

Darth really sees the silver lining.

First time since 2002 that a Masters 1000 title has been won by defeating 4 top 10 opponents in a row. Last player to do it was Guillermo Cañas here in 2002 when he beat Marat Safin, Yevgeny Kafelnikov, Roger Federer and then Andy Roddick in the final. Impressive.

I saw that, she had to dodge the ball.

From start to finish, there was no question that Tsonga had full control of the match.
Completely deserved victory. Unbelievable first serve winning percentage of 95% or so.

Fed had to fight in two games for about 8 minutes each jus to hang on.

I am really happy for Tsonga (even though I would have been happier otherwise).

The commentators were discussing as to who was the last person to win a Masters
after beating 4 top 10 players. I did not get the answer. Who was it?

Anyway, Jo Tsonga has taken out four top 10 players in a row and thee of them
members of big four. Nothing is bigger than this for Tsonga.

Hope, he can maintain it, at least until USO.
