And now the Nets are taking poor shots and it's getting out of hand.

The Mark Jackson firing looks more and more like about off court issues than on.
I am wondering if the GSW will entertain the idea of getting the services of Steve Kerr.

I think Kerr will end up in New York with his old coach Phil.

The bad part for Brooklyn is that it felt like Lebron and Wade didn't have to do much for the game to end up a blowout. A big reason for that is Ray Allen and the other role players had big games. They are also going to need big time play from KG or they don't have much hope to win the series.

I want Kerr to go to Golden State (a team his personality suits better) and Mark Jackson to go to New York. Jackson has the perfect way about him for relating to the type of personnel the Knicks have.

San Antonio to Portland: You will not score. You will not pass Go. You will not collect $200.

Agreed, we will see how it works out though. If you're Steve Kerr do you want to go to the organization that Phil now helps run or do you want to go to a place that likely had a dispute with, and fired, a respected coach that has helped put Golden State on the map.

Bad decision for sure. It's not Mark's fault Bogut is out. I kept waiting to see if Reinsdorf would fire Thib, but no word yet.

Huh, There is no chance that the Bulls will fire the best pure coach in the league.. He has about 20 other suiters ready to pounce if cheap Jerry does that.

Kerr will be in a rebuiding situation with the Knicks.. Melo may not want to be a part of that. I dont trust Dolan or Melo.. Phil may eventually go back to Laker Land if they can get that moron Jim Buss to step down or let his lovely and smarter sister take back control. As for Steve Kerr.. there about 10 other coaches out there in waiting .. he doesnt deserve to go to GS.. its not fair to the coaching organization..

I like him no problem, but I'm not the one in charge of the $$. You said it yourself, cheap Jerry cannot be trusted. It's been talked about here for the last 2 seasons when the Bulls lost early in playoffs.

Thib is a good coach but stubborn/flawed. He plays his starters into the ground in the regular season and tries to make a point by keeping one of his few good offensive players on the bench (Boozer)in the 4th quarter for not playing good enough defense.

KS.. I doubt there is another coach in the NBA that could have coached that non talented Drose-less team to the record and the playoff seed that the Bulls secured at the end of the regular season. One thing that Darth mentions below is very true, his major flaw is that he runs his players legs into the ground with all the regular season minutes that they logged. I think he is really a bit too defensive minded to keep up with this current offensive savy league. Tib would have won multiple championships in the late 80s to early 90s but not this era.

RE: NBA Playoffs

This was the first year the Bulls really failed miserably in the playoffs. Last year they did well to beat Brooklyn and then lost to Miami. In 2012 they lost Rose in game 1 and couldn't adjust in time to beat Philly and in 2011 they made the ECF and lost to Miami as expected, though it was an easier series than it should have been. This year was a bad one though. Washington is a legit team but to get blown away 4-1 won't sit well with the organization or its fans.

Granted I watch probably 5 minutes total of Bulls games this past season.. that being said, what else could he have done with that cast of non offensive talent.. Pax and Guy Forman has got to go. Well, lets take it to another level, Jerry needs to sell the team and just vanished..if you guys have time.. read this piece

http://thesportspost.com/blogs/view/the-chicago-bulls-are-a-bad-organization

Its perfectly details the years leading up to Phil's ouster, the misttreatment of Pippen and the horrors of Jerry krause.. but the real culprit is Jerry R. A cheap owner that "lucked" into Jordan..

While I understand the Wizards are really good when healthy, I agree w/ Darth that the Bulls underperformed this year. 69 points will not win you a playoff game. While they don't have the talent of the Wiz, Heat or the teams out West, they missed something like 15 layups in a close-out game. That's just ridiculous. The few players who can get their own shot performed miserably in this series.

KS and Darth, How can you underperform when you dont have the Talent.. I stated back in Nov or Dec when Drose got hurt.. give up on the season to get lottery picks.. but i think both of you said, Ney.. So look at the Bulls now.. sure they have a pingball pick but not the lottery odds had they tanked the season .. being a mediocre.. aah I am tired of stating the same thing over and over..you two will not listen.. ;)

You have me mistaken AP, I agreed that it would be a good idea but I told you there was no way they were going to do it. Thib and the grinders on that team were never going to tank. I don't think they underperformed this year until the playoffs which is of course when it truly matters.
