Commiseration to my mate Kieran. I figure if you are not happy to accept congratulations you must be happy with commiserations.

Of course congratulations to Nole and my fellow Nole fans.

Wasn't that yet another perfect squishing of Nadal. Vamos-tamos is back, just in time for the clay court season.

Hey Mastoor, good to see you! Congrats on the win! Promising signs for the clay court campaign.

Yes, and I hope the return of Boris the terrible won't spoil Vajda's good work. Did you see how Vajda managed to fix Nole in just 3 weeks?

Apparently. :puzzled Did you see how he hugged Vajda after the IW win? Maybe hiring Boris wasn't such a bad decision after all, made him realize how important Vajda is to him.

Or how about this - maybe they finally realised how important hey are for each other.

Nole says that Vajda had enough of tennis altogether. perhaps Nole's recent dominance will make Vajda more enthusiastic. Fingers crossed.

Congratulations to Novak and his fans.

So, Novak's confidence issues will now be history.

They were history in 2011, too... ;)

Ship has been rising in last 3 weeks, but I didn't have heart to tell you the result before the match ;)

But this was expecting wasn't it? Considering those 2 matches in November and also how well Nole played against Murray.

I know Moxie. How did you take this?

Your return after a big Novak win? Predicatable…and likely short-lived, as soon as the wind blows against you. :snigger

Nole's win, playing like that on slow-hards? Also, predictable. But I'm not buying it as a sign. Fortune's have shifted too often in the last 2 years.

Rafa's return wasn't too hot, either. After the first few games, he was woefully behind the pace. I think since Flushing Meadows, he's lacked intensity, bar the odd match here or there. Well, the battle has been joined and he needs to respond. Fortunately, he's quite good at that sort of thing...

...and he's pretty darn good on clay. I'll be shocked iph he doesn't win the Phrench Open. IMO: Miami, and Nadal's and Djokovic's phorms on hards, don't mean much

I'm certainly glad I didn't bother to try to watch that! Congrats to Nole and all his fans.

Let me see, we don't expect anyone close to Nole to die during clay season like they did in 2012 and 2013. Ever since 2009 Rafa beat Nole on clay only when someone close to nole died during the season on clay.

Of course you'd expect Nole to win. And I expected Rafa to win. And had Rafa won, you'd stay hidden away sulking.

So we should all be glad for small mercies...

He might win that satellite challenger, the "Phrench Open," but he won't be winning the French. :lolz:
I agree it can all come new again on clay, especially the way they've traded fortunes in the last couple of years.

maybe his best tennis cannot happen unless he is hunting someone down ?, like the 4 years he spent gunning for Federer in the rank charts and Wimbledon..and how rafa comes back to blitz djokovic in 2012-13 after being wasted by the serbinator in 2011.

maybe in rafa/wafa's head he needs to lose his no1 rank to get the intensity back again, then he can con himself into thinking he is be underdog again, no ?. :)

I am sure that neither I like to much of you guys nor you guys like too much of me, so I think you'll be fine with my occasional visits, but then when is the better time then after Nole's win over Rafa?

As for the sign, I am also sure you'd prefer if Rafa won today, but yes "luck" changes even if we don't expect it, i know.

Actually, Mastoor, I don't think much about you at all, either way. You're absent so often after Novak's defeats, it's getting easy to forget you...

:clap Honestly, you guys crossed my mind only half an hour ago. Do you want me to go or what?
