Caro and Eugenie are two players of superior quality. Both enjoyable to watch when they are on their games. After watching a little of the Bouchard/Cornet match, it seemed to me Eugenie has got the power back on both her forehand and backhand. Also some quickness too. Will be a high intensity match, going to go with my Canadian on this one in 3 sets. Power over fine finesse.

^ I must say Bouchard play the best tennis I have seen from her since Wimbledon in that match against Cornet.

Here comes the 2nd set and P3tra is already down 2-1 as usual :D
I can come back and watch the 3rd set. Plenty of time until the end of the match ;)

Seriously she and Simona and others dont get it. They must keep the intensity at start of 2nd set. Its so unprofessional and it caused them losing matches in the past !

Was she braked? Do I miss anything?

P3tra... there is a 3 inside her name. Do the math through the last 2 years. I also happen to mention other names in this post... its not about one match

Actually I think it's not the case any more. Last season yes, but this season - I believe she is not playing threesetters more often then the others. P3tra is being a myth now.

You are actually correct about last 3 months, but in Madrid and Rome 4 of her 5 matches were 3 sets. I just checked to see if I got stuck in the head. Maybe she started to change. You may be right.

I am bored. No Simo, no tennis for me. When is that China open starting so I can get another trashing?
Simo state is not good for my mood at all :( Time to wake up Simona.
Stop fearing your status so much. Let yourself drop down the rankings, lose the pressure, and then come back with no pressure and no stress but with more experience.

Really tough conditions in Wuhan right now - 31 c - almost 60% humidity and partly cloudy. So the heat rule is ruling. Later the temperature is lower and supposed to be around 26 C when the next semi is on. So be cool ladies and may the best woman win:cool:

BTW Kvitova vs Svitolina and Wozniacki vs Bouchard. All 4 players will have 1st round bye in Beijing

Really happy for Petra. I always have s oft spot for her. I think her disposition is so sweet and earnest.

Yet I won't say Petra really is really changed until Australian Open. This reminds me of the year she won Wimbledon. Didn't she finish that year out with a YEC win?

Congrats to Genie - you're the best today. Caroline looked tired and was slightly injured and that didn't help either. Hope she'll be fit for Beijing where she's a bye in first round.

I predicted that Genie will come back after Wimbeldon and I was right. Check my previous posts. She just had a temporary lose of self belief after Kvitova trashed her at Wimby.
rubydo can confirm that I said that all the time. "Its all in the head"

Opss... its a Wimby final rematch! I totally missed that fact
