Just noticed on the SB at Wuhan, the doubles team of Bethanie-Mattek Sands/Petkovic had to retire in their doubles match against Hingis/Pennetta 3-2 in the 1st set.
Bethanie-Mattek Sands has returned to competition after having hip surgery earlier this year,I hope she is okay,I will wait to hear the reason for the retirement.

2 free passes in this event! This was the second.

Garcia is already behind a break, trailing 0-40 she went for a big second serve and missed it.
remember my remarks from yesterday? Garcia is a perfect example. Watch her play. Now behind 0-3 in the first set. She should learn from Petra.

Quarterfinals started.
First doubles match is on, Petra and Garcia will follow in about one hour. First meeting between this two, should be interesting.

When is the China open draw?
Thank god Simo's birthday is on Saturday before her R2 match or her birthday may have been ruined by tennis
At least she played good in her last match.
She must find a way to get her mental powers back and get over the no.2 rank stress.

When Simona is ranked 20 she plays like top 5, and when she is ranked 5 she plays like top 20

Here comes the 2nd set and P3tra is already down 2-1 as usual :D
I can come back and watch the 3rd set. Plenty of time until the end of the match ;)

Seriously she and Simona and others dont get it. They must keep the intensity at start of 2nd set. Its so unprofessional and it caused them losing matches in the past !

What happened to Genie's hair?! :puzzled Is she getting old and becomes a brunette? :D
She probably decided to see how it feels as a "low life" brunette. weird
Or she was always a brunette and now stopped dyeing her hair?

I loved it when Elize got mad at someone in the crowd :D she is just like me.
If she only didnt do that horrible nose job she would be real nice. Why did she had to do that stupid nose job? shame
I am sure she looked much better and normal before her nose job.

I'm glad to see this result. It's really time for her to shake off the Wimbledon loss and get her confidence back. It's also important she start showing up for week to week tournaments and not just grand slams.
