Front, you're a Mortal Kombat fan?

Yup. Sure am  Although I'm well out of the loop with new console and pc games these days but it's a cool logo and about time I had an avatar at this stage and thought this one would be good :)

The Italians are 2-0 up against Argentina.

Eveything points to a Switzerland - France final at this time.

I wonder who has home in that series.

Actually, Berlocq won his tie v. Seppi. It's 1-1.

Wow…James Ward turned his match around and GB leads 2-1. He won 10 of the last 11 games, or something. Murray should get tomorrow off.

I just got home from the day 1 of the tie.. Sammy boy is going to be crying in his Budweiser tonight..served for the match in the 4th, then gets broken to lose the set. Had 6-1, and a break in the second to boot.

I took a ream of photos which I will post. My first Davis Cup tie and it was an experience of a lifetime.

I am not surprised Ward pulled a rabbit out of hat. He looked fantastic in practice all week.

How fantastic that you went! Do post photos. And a report from the front. Was it under attended? Good crowd? Are you going the next 2 days?

75% seats full..but not really a fair number as many people were watching from areas with no seating to be in the sun.

I have attended slams, Masters 1000s, etc..this was EXCITING! I am going back Sunday. I had my fill of doubles watching the Bryans practice all week.

Murray looked ridiculously fit. As a matter a fact, a bit too lean in my opinion..as he did in Australia.

The red clay was stunning. I had not seen ATP level tennis on red clay before. Only on Har Tru.

Gasquet praised the young Aussie after their DC encounter. Even though he lost in straight sets, he was very impressive.

Funny Stories about DC:

1. Fed defends Novak for skipping DC

2. Nishikori commends the courage of Milos in not playing DC.

Murray too lean? Why do you say that? Glad he looks fit, though.

He is at least 10 lbs leaner than when i saw him at last year.

I think it may be to reduce stress on the back...

Thanks. It really was a privilege to work with both teams this week and a thrill to watch the opening rubbers.

I love red clay and it the way the game is played on it.
