2014 Aussie Open QF: Vika vs. Aga

Aga taking all the risk that she needs to in order to beat Vika AND EXECUTING! Not just putting them in the front of the corner. She's putting it square in the back of it, next to the baseline and sideline. And then Vika is so frustrated she's just handing Aga points. And it's got her to 3-0. Vika is still capable of a comeback I think. But she isn't exactly known for it. I mean, I'm sure she's made her fair share of comebacks, but I don't know about any of them. Which is just to say that they weren't in major matches (in majors, hahaha, punny) that I was paying attention to. Which I think is more a testament to her almost always starting well and getting out in front and winning from there, even if she has to hold on for dear life as someone makes their own comeback.

What a shot there from Aga on the opening point of Vika's service game down 0-4. BUT... Vika should have been further up at the net and could have knocked it off rather easily. Yeah... I'm sure she was worried about Aga pulling it cross court, but she had to have known that would be a more difficult shot for her to pull off.
