You know, when I see people consistently missing their backhand or forehand into the net, especially if it's their best shot, like Vika missing her backhand right now, I think they would be better off simply adding more spin into their game. Not just in that match. But in their everyday game. Spend the time working more with spin, so you miss less and can set up shots better because you are confident that your shot will not be in the net and can be prepared to put away a ball returned off of your well placed shot. But then, there's the fact that I despise Rafa Nadal who is so successful for precisely that reason. Of course, that isn't even close to the only reason, and maybe or probably not even the main reason. But I do think it's a large part of his game. Of course, I don't hate him for this. I hate him because he arrived as the antithesis and therefore nemesis to Federer. But he's so successful, especially against Federer, at least in part for precisely what I'm describing. And honestly, it's probably because of Rafa that I think things like people should add more spin in their game. So it's all just sort of funny. To me anyways. Most of you are probably thinking I'm just saying obvious things or that I'm a complete loon. But alas, I do find it funny. The contradiction is not lost on me.
