4 people voted stan in 4..:)

I was one of them, although I always bet against Nadal in big matches because I just can't stand the way he so often wins at the latter stages of the biggest events - and many times Nadal has won instead. But I will say that this is what SHOULD happen more often and SHOULD HAVE happened more often.

What? An injury to Rafa affecting his GS chances?

Unfortunately, it's happened all too frequently... :nono

I think Andy Roddick was the one player who exploited that against Rafa. High kicker to the forehand.

Nadal really struggles with that. Doesnt stand close enough to cut the ball trajectory or the angle.

The thing with Rafa is he always adapts and sorta out pokers the opponent after awhile. Roger he knows like a book of course

Thats why I thought he would still win the match even down a set and a break. He always has a way of sneaking back in.

You're blaming this on an injury? Please.

That is completely ridiculous. He was in fine enough health to straight set Federer.

Stans tactics were atrocious once Rafa twisted his back or whatever he did.

Instead of making him move his back by hitting to his BH, he kept going to the FH! Unreal.

I thought Stan should have actually started slicing the ball more just to move Rafa around once he lost rhythm

I'll forgive this because you obviously didn't watch the match... :lolz:

It can be tough playing an injured opponent though I imagine Stan must have had a lot of nerves in the 3rd
