I actually think that Rafa has a tell on Federers serve. no one in the game returns him anywhere near as well as he does

A "tell" as in kinda like Agassi against Becker? You know, the whole tongue thing...

4 people voted stan in 4..:)

I was one of them, although I always bet against Nadal in big matches because I just can't stand the way he so often wins at the latter stages of the biggest events - and many times Nadal has won instead. But I will say that this is what SHOULD happen more often and SHOULD HAVE happened more often.

yes or something in the toss.. You never see him wrong footed, he almost always guesses the right way etc

The problem in that first set was the second serve. Stan served at 35% so Nadal got a crap ton of looks on 2nd serve.

Could be. Nadal definitely neutralizes Feds serve better than some of the purer returners (ie Novak, Murray).

Stan hits harder down the T than Roger does.. Nadal historically doesnt like that shot

But he struggles with inferior servers (Novak for instance). Pretty weird.

Yeah but missing 3 consecutive 2nd serve returns on 0-40 with Stan serving for the first set is juts unacceptable.

Roger doesnt go up the T as well as he used to so over the years Rafa has been able to cheat more and more to the backhand

I think one weakness nobodys picked up on is how much Rafa struggles to return the kicker out wide on the deuce court.
