I'm not really a huge advocate of stats being a reflection of what's happening, but Roger was 75% first serves in the first set, and at 2-5 down in the second he was down to 52% for the set...

Well that's the tale of the tape. Fed had to serve well to even stay close and that's why he won the first set w/ scoreboard pressure. Now Novak has breathing room and he's looking to steamroll.

I have a feeling we're going to see Novak steamroll Roger. Once Novak gets on a roll its hard to beat him.

I hope you're right E.D.

Roger has been playing like his old spiteful self all week. Not sure he will just go away in the third.

Novak takes the middle set 6-3. We're heading to the final frame.

I am happy he was able to take one set. This means he is competitive win or loss.
That is good news for WTF.

I think Nole should win, but I don't think Fed is the type to just go away. Especially against his old mucker Novak. I think Roger will throw a lot into this set...

Nadal is already physically fresher than Del Potro, Djokovic, Federer. And after the group stages, Nadal will continue to be physically fresher. Got to like his chances.

I think Roger's lack of confidence at this level this year is now showing. He looks more hesitant. Nole, by comparison, is in his comfort zone, playing strong...

Good man, Roger! But I think breaking serve might prove problematical...

The foraging missions to the net look less intense now, don't they? More in hope than expectation...

Some point!

Yeah, Roger's tweener brought back memories. Memories of Miley's twerking! :p
