I have to say I'm impressed with Zverev so far. I would have thought the Fog would be far beyond him

Haha we will see how he will manage Mr. Djokovic. I think he is far from the final yet. I strongly hope he loses to Novak and we get a Djoker - Bull final!

Stat dudes, has anyone ever won a slam playing only 5 setters all the way?

I looked this up several years ago when someone else asked, and here's what I found (but I'm not positive all of this is correct or properly up to date):

It's a six-way tie (thanks @mrzz!). Well, actually five guys, since one of them did it twice. In each case, the winner won three five-setters:

No one ever got to more than 3 five setters and won? I was expecting to see one more, like 4 out of 7 five set matches. It's extremely hard to win the tournament if you go to distance too often.

The Edberg campaign at the USO 92 is the one that always sticks in my mind. He was a break down in the fifth on all three of the five setters.

I was a little surprised, too, but you put it perfectly: it’s extremely hard to win if you keep having to go the distance.

Ironically, if I remember correctly, I looked this up originally when Kei was making his way to the USO final several years ago.
