Wow, Frances! I say this completely dispassionately of anything against Roger: I've been hoping for the best for Frances. I still don't expect him to pull off the upset, but he's shown himself up really well. He's never won a 5-setter, for the record.

Are you watching this? I'd be shocked if he doesn't win the 5th. Fed looks half dead out there. And I wouldn't say it's been much of a performance from Tiafoe tonight. Even if he wins tonight Fed will be out of this tourney soon.

I've only just started watching. Crazy with work. I thought I did say I haven't been able to watch and was asking for an update. So you're saying that Roger is off his game, then? Back?

Roger has been atrocious aside from the 3rd set when he looked completely normal. Other than that no movement or pace on his shots. His backhand has usually been misfiring every other shot and his serve has been putrid.

I'm not making a big deal of it. I think that crowd noise should be a non-issue.

I'm not being harsh on his play, just still pissed he pulled a Rafa with his schedule before this. Play Cincy, probably win it and enter USO as heavy favorite. That was the easy plan staring him right in the face. But he screwed the pooch and this is the result. I don't think he's 100%, he's moved really bad aside from 1.5 sets (mid 2nd through 3rd)
