Truth be told, the NFL are prickly too. They whine about natural grass, artificial grass, turf, wind conditions in certain arenas, the balls, etc...
With all due respect, I disagree. I do agree that there have been complaints about horrific field conditions (eg. field conditions such as uneven turf, that could lead to injuries, but I've never heard of a complaint of crowd noise. It's just part of the game. What team has ever complained about field conditions at Lambeau Field or Soldier Field in January? Remember the Ice Bowl in 1967 between the Packers and the Cowboys and the Fog Bowl in 1988 between the Bears and the Eagles. Far from ideal conditions, but they still played.

And crowd noise clearly affects road teams on offense in the NFL and they are used to it. If you're a pro tennis player you aren't used to hearing so much noise during points.
My response is...Get used to it! By now, you'd think that players would expect it at the US Open.

Wow, Frances! I say this completely dispassionately of anything against Roger: I've been hoping for the best for Frances. I still don't expect him to pull off the upset, but he's shown himself up really well. He's never won a 5-setter, for the record.

And they say that they are already get to used it, it's just the first minutes when they start to play the first match. By the way I don't understand why you are doing so big deal about it, are you playing this USO too?
