Come on Petra!!!
Petra takes the second set 7-5
:hug

My Draw was about to be decimated!
:chillout:

This seems far from over.

Angie Kerber got upset too!

Yep my draw was also about to decimated!!!!!!!!!!!

Regarding Kerber I have come to the conclusion she cant play on clay.I picked her again and she goes out in her first match

Interesting match ups tomorrow,

I am interested in seeing how Serena fares against Petko.

Jankovic v Kuznetsova....I am hoping Jankovic can get that win, then again I am not discounting my lovable Headcase Sveta:)

Petra - predictably unpredictable.

Wow, that's a harsh indictment of Genie. Didn't see her match but was it really that bad:(

Don't blame me blame the Tennis Channel. I'm not much on all this social media stuff, but the Tennis Channel showed what Genie had put on "something" in it was a picture of Genie holding a drawing of herself and she was asking which one was prettier her or the drawing? :cover I know all this social media stuff wasn't around during Anna K.'s day, but I can't even see her doing something like that! As the old saying goes here in the U.S. "pretty is as pretty does" and for Genie to be commenting on her own looks which everyone can see anyway and then not coming up with tennis wins is a bad sign for me!

Genie is way ahead of Anna in terms of beating top players and finals--at least by this age. Frankly, I think she is a top tenner for years in the future. She has got game and moxie.

By Genie's age Anna K had already made the semi's of Wimbledon and if I'm correct, the finals Miami made it to number 8 in the world and beaten top tenners such as Hingis, Capriati, Davenport and Synder.

Maddie took the first set from Simo 7-5, then Simo stormed back and won the next two sets oh and one!

Serena got ahead early, breaking twice early, up 4-0

Ana and Alize are ready to go.

Andrea did some fighting in the 2nd, but Serena just slammed the door on her for the double break, and now serves for it.

One thing I had noticed in Madrid and so far in Rome is the serve is much better from Serena. That was a key that had not been clicking for her so far this year. It is nice to see her serve gain a lot more consistency for her before the French Open and Wimbledon.

I thought she was playing quite well in Madrid, and was disappointed by her withdrawal, but, aside from her match with CSN, her serve did look on point.

PR is having terrible clay season. May be she needs to grow taller to perform well on clay.;)
