Former Wimbledon finalist Sabine Lisicki ended her latest comeback attempt Wednesday because of a severe knee injury.Lisicki tore an anterior cruciate ligament during a doubles match in Linz.

The Mutua Madrid Open announced on Wednesday this as from 2021,it will be a two week tournament,it will take place from 27th April to 9th May.The WTA qualifying round will commence Tuesday 27th April.The first round of the women's main draw will take place on Thursday 29th.

Did anyone see this? I'm not quite sure what the value is in it, or what they're going for. The WTA is going to change their event category names to more closely match the ATP naming, but not all of the point values will change.

Yes I read that the other day.As yet the WTA has not put out an official statement regarding the change.I will wait for their announcement first before making a comment.

A year is coming to an end for many who fared,
also for those who have been/are a little scared,
afraid of what all the unknown brings,
when we hang the tree with sweet memories, decorations, things.
How will it go for all of us in the unknown new year,
and will it be secure to be together again to have a beer.

We must never lose hope against the bad,
when you are sitting alone in the dark and sad.
Pick up the phone and call your friends and dear,
a good way to keep distance even though we rather be near.
Use digital media and write a story in a positive tone,
about yourself, the situation to show you are alive in your dome.

There's probably a sweet, exciting memory you can share,
even if you can not remember it all or do not dare.
Grab the pen old friend and let us hear your thought.
There might probably be something for what you fought.
May you all have a very merry yuletide
in each of your cozy little shelter hide.

1st of all I'll say "Hi!".
Now for the rest of my reply.

I'll be glad to see this year end.
To me, it hasn't exactly been a friend.

I hope next year is going to be better.
I hope people follow these rules to the letter.

That will mean we can get on with life as normal again.
I'm sick of having to stop in my little den.

I'm sick of having to wear a face mask.
"Can I come in?" outside shops I'm sick of having to ask.

I'm sick of having people bump into me when I try to give them their personal space.
Though I know this new normal is something we all have to embrace.

I wish we could have Xmas parties & Carol concerts as well as other Xmas events.
I've almost finished putting in my 2 cents.

I hope everyone has a nice Yule.
I hope next year will end up a jewel.

(I'm very sorry I haven't got anything better this year but I've been very busy & I've been very upset & stressed at times. I need this Xmas.)
